Okay, the mites are gone (or most of them) and many did live.  I am keeping them with the Shelfordella lateralis now (the S. lateralis seemed to have eaten all the mites LOL!).

I wrote this in 07/09/2012.  Note: They are fine.  Several lived, about 8 or so.
I have got grain mite like mites!  These mites were just like grain mites until they suddenly started sticking to the roaches and killing them.  All will probably die.  One adult female gave birth to babies but they have mites so they will probably die.

I wrote this in 05/24/2012.  Gold Medal Roach.
I ordered 15 mixed nymphs from Roachcrossing.com and they gave me over 20.  Gold Medal Roaches are fast and can climb slippery glass and plastic well.  They cannot climb over vaseline so that's good.  The two adults I have are about 4cm long.  They do not seem to flick poop at me but they still oozes out like the Lobster Roaches do and it has a strong smell like the Lobster Roaches.  They do make a squeaking noise and a smell if bothered.  Here is a video.
